Q: How long have you been drawing?
I have been drawing since 3rd grade, so at 8/ 9 years old. I always found drawing really fun, but I didn't really take it seriously until I was much older. I started digital art when I was in 5th grade. I used MS Paint and a wired computer mouse. I didn't get my first graphic tablet till I was in 6th grade. I actually stopped drawing seriously between 7th grade to senior year of high school. My dad wasn't a big fan of me drawing, so I rarely had the chance to draw at all. Most of the art I did through those years were small doodles during class. I did not get back into more serious work until my freshman year of college. Q: How /where did you learn art?
I'm predominately self-taught. When my mom saw how much I loved drawing, she signed me up for art class. The art class didn't really help me grow as an artist at all since my art teacher basically did all the work so I didn't really learn anything. I mostly learned how to draw by using lots of references and using a lot of my inspirations to guide me. I studied and looked at tutorials to help me with parts of my art that I felt were very weak. Q:Do you do requests or art trades? Currently I am not accepting requests or art trades. I do sometimes open to requests or give gifts from time to time. |

Q: What programs did/do you use to draw?
The current programs I use are Paint Tool Sai Ver. 2 and Medibang for finishing touches/color adjustments. I have used a bunch of other programs along my art journey. MS Paint was my first ever art program, then it was Paint Tool Sai, Fire Alpaca, and Medibang. I have experimented with Krita too. Q: What tablet do you use? I'm still using my first and only tablet, the Wacom Bamboo Connect (I believe they are now discontinued). Personally, I love my tablet, it's not too fancy and great for those who want to start digital art. Q: What do you use to record and edit your speedpaints? I use OBS to record all speedpaints. I use Lightworks and Microsoft Movie Maker interchangeably to edit my videos. |
